I was very excited to read Frank Trueblood’s website on The NPN Gold Team. It sounded brilliant to me and I was very curious to learn what his “system” was to bringing in new recruits. So, I joined his NPN team and set up an additional Global NPN account. The following is what I learned as I became a member of the Global NPN team:

I called Frank myself to ask him about signing up. I had a new prospect that was also interested in joining the Gold Team as well. He told me he had a “system” that can be replicated over and over again, it doesn’t matter if your name is Suzy, Bill, Jim, whatever, the main fact is the system works. Wow, that sounded really great to me and so I clicked on his affiliate link and joined under him.

According to the Gold NPN website, this is what Frank claims, and this is a direct quote:

“You will get all of our exclusive wealth-building marketing techniques, which even includes our very powerful FREE 9-page income-producing affiliate-sponsoring e-book that can literally have you sponsoring more people in one week and making more money in one month than most people do in an entire year!”

What Frank does not reveal here is that you have to pay $47 to Clickbank in order to give that so-called “FREE 9-page income-producing affiliate-sponsoring e-book” out to your new prospects. Further, the e-book is a summary of the infamous book “Think & Grow Rich.” It has nothing to do with The NPN and all of the great tools you get with it.

So, like a fool, I paid Clickbank the $47 and bought the e-book.  Then I learned that Frank or one of his team must customize the links for you, so if you want to use this e-book for another program you have to buy another copy and his team has to customize that copy for you.

At this time, I was beginning to wonder if I had just been fooled into joining this NPN Gold team, but I was still optimistic and excited about it.  I then emailed Frank and asked him to please send me his fail proof system. After all, I was very excited to learn what it was!

This is what the NPN Gold Team website states as well:

“Many of the methods we use to help our NPN Gold Team Members reach  their goals you may have heard of before. Many of the methods come from  our inner circle that only we know about and share with each other. Some   of these unique one-of-a-kind marketing methods will even show you   where and how you can instantly find motivated people just like you who   are not only eager but are ready and willing to join you in your business.”

He sent me back a link to a website that has a video on it and the video states that he will now reveal his amazing ’system.” As I watched the video, I realized his amazing “system” is not a system at all, but a question. The question is

“How can I make the most amount of money, in the least amount of time, with the least amount of effort?”

Does that sound like a money-making system you can translate to advertising on the web? Frank also does not tell you on the NPN Gold Team membership website that you have to pay him a monthly fee to learn from him “his system.”

His video goes on and on for way too long of Frank talking about how great he is.  It goes on for so long that it is truly ridiculous and at the end of spending your valuable time listening to him, you walk away having learned nothing more than that Frank thinks he is an amazing marketer.  It’s all about him, and nothing about a money making system.

So again I called Frank and asked him point blank, “what is your money making system?” And I read him the above quote. This is what he said, “You get the replicated website for free.” I said, that is not a money making system, that is a website. He then got furious with me and hung up on me.

For me the NPN Gold Team website is completely misleading. What it does is keeps adding money to Frank’s pockets and really at the end of the day with his name all over the website, even if you create your own replicated website, people aren’t going to sign up with you.  You are basically going to send more traffic and more customers to Frank.

As a person who has been marketing online for over 4 years. As an Ultimate member of Howie Schwartz and a student of two of Howie’s Apprentice Program, I can tell you right now that there is no magic bullet to making money online.  When an internet marketer promises you that they “have a system” and never reveal it and keep leading you on, I can promise you you have found a scam artist.

If you want to spend your hard earned money and make Frank Trueblood rich, then go for it.  But my attitude is if you are paying an NPN member $75 a month in commissions, they should reveal to you how to make money online for FREE. Period.

There are really only 10-15 primary ways to promote a product online and get your message out there:

  • Video Marketing
  • Article Marketing
  • Press Releases
  • Web 2.0 sites such as blogger.com, squidoo.com, wordpress.com – There are thousands of Web 2.0 Sites
  • Bookmarking Sites
  • Directory Submissions
  • Pad Files
  • Software Submissions
  • Image Farms
  • Blogging
  • RSS Feeds
  • Classified Ad sites such as CraigsList

Ok, that’s about it.  There is no “system” you can plug into and sit on your butt and watch money flow into your bank account. If you treat your online business as a “hobby” then you can make a couple hundred a month. If you treat your online endeavors as  a  “business” you can make a lot of money.  But, it all takes effort.

As a person who has seen every type of  “Guru” online, I just want people to know this:

If you join a sponsor in NPN or any program that has a monthly fee, they should teach you for FREE. After all, they are already making money from you.

And know this, there is no “plug in to my system and like magic, you will start making money.”  BS Guys. That’s Bull Shit. Don’t get sucked into it, and don’t let yourself get sucked into the NPN Gold Team.
